Susan Lohr

Sue is a 25+ year veteran of the pharmaceutical arena where she has worked both in senior leadership roles within big pharma and on the service side running a successful healthcare communications agency. Sue held multiple positions of increasing leadership within brand marketing at Glaxo in the UK before moving to the US where she held the position of Vice President, Global Marketing and Medical Affairs at Aventis (now Sanofi) with accountability for all commercial aspects of their global allergy and respiratory portfolio. She then released her inner entrepreneur to set-up, grow and firmly entrench a sector-leading healthcare communications company in the US, specializing in market shaping in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical markets. She successfully sold the business in 2011 and in leaving after 15 years at the helm has set them up for continued growth.

Sue is now a mentor and commercial advisor to a number of innovative companies that are developing and delivering market-changing products and services.  Sue is also  a member of Robin Hood Ventures, a Philadelphia based group of angel investors, focused on early-stage, high-growth companies in the Greater Philadelphia region.

Sue has a MA in Biochemistry from Oxford University in the UK and gained her MBA from Warwick Business School.
