Headquartered in Malvern, PA, CR Certification Corporation ("CardioReady®") is a totally independent entity comprised of doctors, attorneys and AED industry veterans, dedicated to reviewing cardiac emergency readiness programs such as golf clubs, health clubs, hotels, convention centers, conference centers, and other public venues to determine if best practices have been employed. CRCC certifies only those facilities as CardioReady® which have met or exceeded this strict standard. CardioReady® is a federally registered certification mark owned by CR Certification Corporation.

Management Team

Norman L. Norris - Chairman of the Board of Directors
Until his retirement in 2000, Mr. Norris was a partner in the intellectual property firm Woodcock Washburn LLP and served for many years as a member of its executive committee. As a practicing attorney, Mr. Norris was active in patent litigation involving various technical subjects including medical-related methods and systems. Mr. Norris was also a co-founder and a principal investor in Trident International, a NASDAQ company, and served as a member of the boards of directors of Trident and Foxjet Inc., before he led the sale of those companies to an NYSE company. He is also the general partner of the Birchcrest Group LTD, which targets investments in early stage entities with significant intellectual property holdings, and is President of Norman L. Norris PC, which develops high-end residential real estate in Naples, Florida.

Andrew A. Roeder - President and CEO
Mr. Roeder has considerable experience in owning and operating service based and manufacturing businesses. He has served as President and CEO, as well as VP-Sales functions, for Echolab, Inc., a manufacturer of video production switchers and tools for the production and distribution of digital media. He remains an investor and an active member of the Board of Directors for Echolab. Mr. Roeder was also an investor and start-up CEO for Rhombus Services, an outsource labor company focusing on national programs for the installation, service and maintenance of technical specialty equipment. Prior to that, Mr. Roeder was owner and President of The Image Bank Canada, which represented international artists in licensing motion and still images to the advertising and creative communities. He is a graduate of Fordham University with a concentration in Finance and has participated in the Executive Education Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Richard N. Edie, M.D. - Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board and Director
Dr. Edie is a nationally renowned cardiothoracic surgeon. Most recently, he served as a Professor and Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Edie was formerly on the staffs of Columbia Presbyterian and Babies Hospital in New York City and then University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. He received his M.D. from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1965, did surgical residencies at Roosevelt and Columbia Presbyterian Hospitals in New York City and subsequently practiced for 30 years. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the New York Thoracic Surgical Society and the Philadelphia Academy of Surgery.

Joseph F. Scutellaro - Treasurer, CFO and Director
Mr. Scutellaro is a CPA and Tax Partner at Jump, Scutellaro and Company, LLP. Over the past 15 years, he has been involved in every aspect of tax practice.  He is also a founder and Managing Member of Targeted Capital, LLC, a full service investment advisory service and a licensed and registered investment advisor in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Scutellaro has been a principal and investor in various enterprises and raised over $50,000,000 in private equity for these and other entities.

Craig Asher, MS, MBA - Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Asher has extensive experience in marketing strategy, product management, product development, services delivery, business development, and technical sales for growth companies. In the past ten years he has been a key team member in three successful software startups - Commerce One, Trigo Technologies (sold to IBM in 2004), and in the internal IBM startup for InfoSphere Traceability Server. He has guided software implementations at over 50 customers, including several in the medical products and pharmaceutical verticals. He has enjoyed co-chairing several working groups in international standards bodies. Before moving into startups, Craig was a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in the supply chain strategy practice, and helped drive the turnaround of a distressed packaging manufacturer. He did his undergraduate work at Stanford University, and completed his MBA and Masters in Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University.
